Christmas Mimosa
Who doesn’t love a good twist on a classic? I mean, don’t get me wrong. I’m a classic lover too. However, holiday elevations are my jam which is why I love this Christmas mimosa. Pairing the refreshing taste of cranberry juice with the pizzazz of bubbly champagne, you have the perfect flavors for toasting the season!
Also called a cranberry mimosa, this obviously isn’t a novel recipe. For a personal take, I went with a 2:1 ratio of champagne to cranberry juice and omitted the orange liqueur often (but not always) used. This can easily be adjusted to your preference of taste and/or alcohol content. There is also a lot of room for creativity in the presentation, sometimes my favorite part!
Both the presentation and the flavor lend themselves to elegant participation in brunch or an evening toast or hors d’ouevres drink. I even love the idea of starting Christmas morning with one of these pretties in hand while gathering around the Christmas tree in Christmas jammies. Such a versatile drink!
