Tips & Tricks – Copycat Big Mac Sauce
• You can use dill relish instead of sweet, but you’ll miss an aspect of the flavor without that touch of sweetness. You can add a small amount of sugar to the mixture to make up for it. I would start with ¼ teaspoon and go from there. White granulated sugar is best.
• This sauce tastes best when it has chilled in the fridge for 24 hours. The flavors have a chance to gel. However, it’s still great when used freshly-made.
• Freezing this recipe isn’t recommended as it changes the texture of the sauce once thawed.
• I do not suggest using Miracle Whip in place of the real mayo. It changes the flavor of the sauce a lot.
Want to Change it Up?
This Copycat Big Mac Sauce is a fun twist on the usual condiments. For a kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or drops of hot sauce for a spicy twist. Add chopped parsley or chives to give it a fresh herb upgrade and garden-fresh flavor.
